| Well, as maybe somebody of u know that I work on 2 PC's, and actually the 2nd one, where I play MP games is totally crap, Im trying to look at some new parts. 1stly I want to say that Im not looking for the typical ''monster'' (limited $). Just good machine which will not give me a reason to scream sometimes. The parts what I found now are follows: (click to see an image) Motherboard: ASUS M2N68 PLUS AM3 RAM: Not sure about exact models yet, but I think 2GB of 800-1066 would be enough. Processor: AMD Phenom II X2 555 BLACK EDITION OC Rev. C3 Graphic Card: Palit GeForce 9800GT 1024MB Super+ Power Supply: (Actually) Pentagram 430W (not sure about model, and I think it can be bad for new parts, but Ill see) | |

| As I've read many tests and opinions about this processor, its great for OC, it has 2 locked cores to unlock = x4 not x2. In some tests it beats Intel e7400 which costs much more. | |

| 2many background programs running - thats 1 Use some programs that clean up ur RAM - 2 U can also run the system in the safe mode and try to run uo (if it works there on safe mode) to see how it's going without any shit running except the most needed. If not - format :/ | |

| thought I'd offer some advice here 4 ya: 1. AMD's are great imo 4 gaming, i'd choose them anyday over an intel one (unless ur looking at i7 or i9's) 2. I'd save more money and get a better g-card. That will be fine for cod1/2 but for cod4 and all other new games your gna struggle to get a nice big steady fps unless ur overclockin. 3. 430W psu? LOL. I'll be surprised if your pc even boots up with that. Go for a 550 or more PSU. Also, if you dont know wot ur doin then let some1 else build it for ya cuz the chances are u'll get problems like compatibility issues. Im not an expert by any means but i know enough | |

| Thx 4 reply. 1. Im not looking for an Intel i7 or higher model because I dont have much money. 2. I already bought GTS 250 and Im sure it will be enough for me. 3. I said its just for a while, then Ill look for some better psu. People say the power isnt that important, the most important thing are 12V lines, and I think Pentagram isnt such a crap one. 4. I also said im not looking for a PC with 6 cores, GTX and so on. I've read many about these parts, and I know what Im doing. Would like to say that if I let someone else to build a PC for me, the Atari will be a better choice. | |
